The story deals with two young men who are both forced to confront their sexuality, male masculinity and violent tendencies in the confines of a boxing changing room in a provincial town in the south of England, on the night of an important boxing match. The stakes are high, should Travis win against his old rival, Sangster, he will turn professional.
Jacko’s there to help Travis prepare for the fight and to celebrate his anticipated victory, which will dramatically change their respective futures if Travis wins…
